October 25th, 2012 Debly Enterprises' machines began working on our property preparing the "pad ready" portion of the project.

This phase of the project is expected to be completed in late November when Bird Construction will begin placing the footings and the foundation.

Once the foundation is in place the building will be framed. We will make every effort to have the building closed in prior to severe winter weather so that construction can continue on the interior over the winter months, allowing us to meet our late summer completetion date.

Work will also be taking place to put in the street up to the building; this includes both our private road and the new City street off Loch Lomond Road - Eugene's Way - to be completed in the Spring of 2013.

Fundy Harbour Property Management Ltd. has been hired to manage our building on a daily basis.

Columbian Charities Council 6595 (2004) Inc. is delighted to see our dream of a seniors apartment building in East Saint John become a reality after three years of planning and development with all the key players.

We are especially pleased with the interest shown by those who wish to become tenants in our building and we know that the completed building will be all that we have promised it to be.
